How it Works
CePORT BSP stays flexible and efficient by managing data, not systems or applications.Based on modern software architecture that is employing the most current open system standards, the CePORT Building Services Portal (BSP) has a patent-pending design that allows it to be platform- and technology-agnostic, adapting to the client’s IT environment. CePORT has worked extremely hard to stay technology-neutral. For example, the BSP does not adopt specifications for any particular BAS, card access system, or protocol exchange. Loosely coupled services harvest and feed data from and to existing systems without imposing any external processes onto building systems that are designed to work independently. Your existing application-specific systems remain in control and simply respond to external data.
Central to the BSP’s flexible design is the utilization of both functional and integration modules. This allows for the best mixing and matching of integrated systems for each situation. The functional modules exist independently of the integration modules, using the same datasets regardless of where the data initiates. The integration modules vary from one installation to another, sending and receiving data both within the BSP and with existing building systems and business applications.
